Hey Ladies,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, been busy with work and studying! I was getting bored of always wearing neutral colors, so I decided to pull out my purples and put together a quick look. I was wearing this pretty professional dress and wanted to look girly so I added my little turquoise flower hair clip (how cute is it???!) So I used that same color on my lower water line for an extra punch of color. Hope you enjoy this look! (click the photos to make them larger)

Hey Ladies!!!!

Been a while since I posted (sorry about that!) I wanted to put together a bunch of different photos of makeup gigs I have done :):):)! The photos below are from a makeup seminar I did at Healthy Inspirations located in Fairfax. It's a center where men and women can go to lose weight, get healthy and in shape and learn how to care better for themselves. Sandy (pictured below) volunteered to have her makeup done so I could show the attendees a simple subtle smokey eye using purple/pink colors :)

Hey guys!

So i just purchased the Urban Decay book of shadows vol III!!! It's an awesome little collection and I recommend it. I have a few urban decay palettes, and I honestly don't have a lot of the colors that come with Vol III. I have a couple but not many of them. They're so pigmented and pretty! I will do a full review of the BOS later on. I got so excited when I brought it home that I took off my makeup I had on, and did a quick look and I wanted to share!

Just letting you know, the pictures don't even give the color quality justice...sometimes I hate my camera... but I used my favorite color from this palette (Money)... it's such a pretty silvery green... I love it. Hope you like my look!

PS: excuse my nasty eyebrows!! lol. I need to make an appointment to get them threaded.. the photos just make that abundantly clear!!

Palace Pedigreed

Hey ladies,

So I used to wear crazy ass colors on a daily basis to work and what not, then I got a promotion and I seem to be wearing much more subtle colors... I need to do more of my intense looks though cause I don't want my blog to get b-o-r-i-n-g with the same looks over and over. So if you feel bored with my looks, feel free to let me know. Also if you want me to attempt any particular look just lemme know. Alrighty so now onto this look...

I have been shopping and buying makeup like a crazy woman! And I recently got a small haul from M.A.C.... yay! One of the products I got was the palace pedigreed palette (which by the way is fantabulous!) I love the colors, they're so feminine and just purtaaaay. Here are some photos of what I came up with. ***Super side note... definitely liked my hair in these above photos! I got it cut and now it's shorter... but whatever... it'll grow... I just felt like randomly throwing that comment in there... okay onto more photos!

Pretty In Pink

Hey Ladies,

This is a look that created back in January and I love love love it! It's very dramatic, but I wear dramatic colors everyday ;).... you can tone it down if necessary to make it to your liking. I am going to be making my next video tutorial on this look. I hope you like it... if you are interested to know the colors used or anything like that, leave a comment and I'll answer all questions. Here is the tutorial as promised on how to create this look. (note, the video I did today isn't quite as pink as the pictures...BUT, you use these three colors I show you in the video. Depending on how pink you want it, you just add more white to the inner corner and blend into the red and so on, the colors will turn more pink/purple the more you blend. Shadowy Lady

Today I decided to use my m.a.c shadowy lady palette. I like the colors. They're very pretty. Hopefully you like the look... I created a look that you can wear in the daytime but you can also use this palette to create more dramatic ones and what not. Very versatile which I like :) Below are the photos...

As you can see by the photo of the palette, the colors are prettttttty! For this look I used the top left color all over my lid and blended upwards. Top right color blended in the crease and blended softy above the crease. Bottom right color blended only in the outer v. I lined my upper and lower lashes with a black eyeliner and then went over it with a pencil brush dipped into the bottom left corner to soften the harsh line and add that pretty blue to the look.

Cut Crease Look

So I created a very dramatic cut crease look using my mac pigments. I love the way this came out and it's a look that I've been trying to master for a while. I think it came out really well. Practice makes perfect! Once I get it down completely I will do a tutorial on how I created the look. I listed the products used below all the photos. Click the pictures to make them bigger :)

All the colors I used were my m.a.c. pigments.

Pure White on inner corner of my eye and half way in the middle
True Chartreause on the middle and outer half of my eye
Kelly Green on the crease and outer corner
Emerald Green over the crease and blended upwards and feathered into the outer corner
Black over the Kelly Green and Emerald green on the crease and blended upwards
Pure White blended on my brow bone down into the dark green and black
Blacktrack Fluidline on my upper and lower lashes
Ardell Hotties false eyelashes
True Chartreause and Emerald Green smudged along my lower lash line

Olive Green Delight :)

I used my coastal scents 88 warm palette today and came up with this olive green smokey eye. I love the contrast of colors. I think the look came out really well. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera on the best settings, so I didn't capture the video in 720HD youtube quality....rats!!! But hopefully you can still see the details pretty well. I tried to take some decent photos with my digital camera, but I feel like they didn't come out all that well either... Sounds to me like I need new equipment!!! :) Anyone have any tips on good digital cameras to catch the makeup detail really well?

My Go To Look

So I did a tutorial on my quick look I do pretty much on a daily basis. It's really quick once you get the hang of it and will probably take under 15 minutes. I was really bummed after I spent an HOUR prepping the video for upload and what not and then once I fully had it uploaded to youtube, I find out it got rejected cause the length was too long arrggghh! So I had to edit it and cut things out to try to get it within the 10 minute time frame. Which explains why the video fades in and out a LOT and also is a little choppy at parts. I'm sorry!!!! I had to shrink it to get it to upload.

Ben Nye Look

It has been sooooo long since I've posted anything or updated my blog!!! AAAAAH. Well I am back and ready to keep posting different looks. Recently I got two makeup gigs!!! I did the bridal party for both weddings. I need to get the photos gathered and up here so you can see how they turned out :)

Right now I am posting a look I created last night using my Ben Nye Luminere palette. I love these colors and don't use this palette enough. I was very tired and kind of out of it so I didn't talk through the video. I just did the techniques and what not and showed you what I used. Hope you enjoy the video. Hey ladies.... wow today was so dreary and awful out! Where did the sun go??? Hopefully it will be a nicer day tomorrow! Walking my pup in the rain is just not fun at all... blaaaa

Ok well onto my look of the day... I decided to tone down my colors and do a more neutral eye for work... I like how the look came out. I have been using my neutral palette that I ordered from coastal scents a lot, and I have to say I think the color pay off is really nice! To make the photos larger, just click them.... :)

Hey ladies! SO today was my second day at Sephora! :) YAAAAAY!!! It was really fun although my feet were killing me by the end of my shift! Not wearing heals to work again lol.... just flats I guess. I think I have finally found the retail job that fits my personality perfectly :) Sephora is like girl heaven.... so I enjoy being there thoroughly. Anyway this is my look of the day. I used my ben nye palette as well as a couple of my mac eyeshadows. This is my 2nd attempt at applying false eye lashes, so I know they look a little messed up on the closeups, but hey what can I say, I'm trying :) I am pleased with how it came out. So I haven't posted in a while but it has been a busy last few weeks! First and foremost, my friend gave birth to a baby boy!!!!!! Congrats to her! He's so cute and wittle and aaaaah I love him! hahaha Anyway that was verrrrry exciting. And second, I got my job at Sephora!!!! I am so happy about that! Playing around with liner

Hey ladies :)

Long time since I have posted... I've been busy busy busy... but I have been practicing some different looks... I don't know why I didn't take photos of the looks I have done recently (dumb me) but I will get back to posting my looks of the day and what not. I just had an interview to work at Sephora part time over the holiday season, so hopefully I get it! :) I ordered soooooo much makeup this past month, I think I may have literally like tripled my makeup stash! I'll be doing swatches and reviews soon of everything I have done... But for right now, I just wanted to post photos of this look I did just playing around :)

Cut Crease Look

So I have been wanting to try this look for a while. I did it on both eyes and did it slightly different on each. On my left eye I put the crease a little higher up than on my right eye. I think I prefer the right eye over the left. I like the crease a bit lower... but overall I think the look came out really nice. I need a bit more practice at it, but for a first try I don't think I did too bad! Anyway I will edit this post tomorrow and add all the colors and how I did it.. I'm too tired to add all that now... but take a look and let me know what you think! Ciao bellas :)

Edit: Ok so tried this kind of look one more time, but this time I used The She Space pigments... first off, how gorgeous are the colors??!!! I love them! I am really happy with how the final look came out. Pretty Blues

Ok so I wanted to try this look out that I saw on one of these blogs that I saw which I now follow, her makeup is always ridiculously pretty, like stunning, I love it. This is her link . Anyway she does this look with an eyeliner that she calls a banana look. I am not good at this at all (just admitting it now lol, but I am trying to learn how to do it). So my very good girlfriend let me use her to try this look out. The left eye was the eye I did first (it's not so good as you can see) then I tried it out on the other eye and the look came out slightly better. It still is no where near as good as Eva's but I am still learning the technique. I think overall the look came out decent and the blue looked gorgeous on her! Well she is gorgeous... but the color made her eyes pop! Let me know what you think :)

I've been super busy so haven't been able to post for a little bit... my birthday was Monday (YAY!) and this whole week I've been working and then going places each night and getting home mega late, so I've been super tired... BUUUUTTT I ordered tons of makeup as a present to myself :) And one of the pallets I ordered was the Ben Nye shadows... first off they are GORGEOUS! and really pigmented... I love them.. I took my puppy to get bathed and groomed... can't wait to get him and stuff and hopefully he'll be all clean and fresh smelling! i love that dog so much... I'll add photos of him all clean and groomed... he's adorable...

So today was such a dreary cold friday! :( I didn't want to go to work today lol and 5 o'clock couldn't come fast enough! But I whipped it out this morning and tried it out, and the colors are very pretty... the green in it is lime/yellow'ish and really pops when you put it on! I tried pulling the brown and white out past my eye and stuff.. just playing around with a look... I actually think it ended up coming out pretty cool looking... She Space Pigment Look

Hello!!!

Man today was a very blah day... I woke up this morning mega late which sucked and I was rushing like a crazy women to get to work and as I am getting ready to walk my dog and leave I notice that he had a major accident in the apartment... GROSSSSSS so I ended up cleaning that up for twenty minutes and was late ugh :( Poor thing, I felt so bad for him too, he was scared and stuff cause he's house trained but I guess he really had to go... SOOO that was the start of my morning... awful right? Well anyway I didn't have time to do my makeup, so I did it quickly when I came home on my lunch break... Ok so my friend has this event she is going to tonight with her boyfriend and she wanted to look gorgeous (as all of us girl would want!!!). So she is wearing this hot super short black dress with a draping back (hot) and these awesome pewter shoes, so she wanted purple and pewter... We did this look over my lunch break (jeez not a lot of time! lol) and I am SUPER happy with the results and how it turned out. The pictures honestly give it NO justice... it's stunningly gorgeous in person and in the sunlight, my gosh, it's just really pretty! The picture didn't turn out as well as I would've liked :( (boo) but her makeup looked really pretty... I'll try to find if I have another photo that's better, and I'll upload that one.

This look came out really nice. I used carbon e/s, goldmine, nylon and gesso... i think the colors work better on her than they do on me! hahaha

Black and Pink

Just goofing off with different looks. This was with black and pink shadow... not a very good look, but I tried lol. I love heavy makeup with the smokey eye look. I am soooo used to it now that when I don't wear makeup I think I look like a beast! How awful is that lol...

M.A.C Pigments in red, black and white

I love how this look came out! I was in a huge rush one morning and grabbed my makeup and did it in the car and tried out these pigments I got... and when I put them on and blended everything together, it came out so pretty! I got a lot of compliments on it too that day which was nice as always :) But the white pigment that i put on the inner first half of my lid turned this pretty shade of purple when it blended with the red pigment and carbon e/s. Anyway I really like this look and wanted to share... let me know what you think!!! :)

Studio Fix fluid foundation in NC35 (MAC)

Prep+Prime Translucent finishing powder (MAC)

Coastal Scents Blush Contour powder for my cheeks

Eyes:

MAC paintpot in Painterly

MAC Pro pigment in Pure White on the inner corner and first half of the lid

MAC Pro pigment in Basic Red on the middle of the lid blending out to outer lid, and also on the lower lash line

MAC e/s in Carbon blended into crease up to brow bone

MAC fluidline in blacktrack

MAC technikohl eyeliner in photogravue on waterline and smudged on lower lash line

Hi guys! I have a ridiculous makeup obsession and I saw all these awesome blogs about makeup and stuff and I wanted to join in :) I am very new to this, so once I get my blog all under control and stuff and figure out how to do all the things I want, I'll have it set up much better! Right now I am just going to post up photos of makeup that I have done recently and you can let me know what you think, and leave me feedback on things I could improve and what not... :):):)

Face: Mac Studio Fix Foundation
Translucent setting powder

Eyes: Mac pigment in pure white on inner corner of eye to the middle. Mac pigment in teal on outer half of lid. Mac e/s in carbon in the outer v blended in through the crease. Mac e/s in nylon as my highlight. Mac fluidline in blacktrack as eyeliner. Revlon double take mascara with mac prep+prime primer first.

Lips: Revlon matte in nude attitude.

Face: Mac Studio fix foundation

Eyes: Mac paintpot in painterly. Mac Pro pigments in pure white on inner corner lid to the middle. True Chartreuse on the middle of the lid. Landscape Green on outer half of lid. Carbon e/s blended into the outer v. Blame the rain pigment as my highlight. Nyx glitter liner in lime on the lower last line. Blacktrack fluidline as my eyeliner. Technikohl liner in blacktrack on my waterline. Revlon doubletwist mascara. :)

Lips: Revlon matte in nude attitude.

This is with the spiced chocolate palette from Mac that came out a year or so ago... i really like the looks you can create with it :) Sorry about my faces in all the photos lol, i don't like smiling much in them, dont' know why!!!

Face: Mac Prep+Prime face primer, studio fix foundation, translucent finishing powder

Eyes: Mac paintpot in painterly as my base. All eyeshadows listed are m.a.c. Gesso e/s in inner corner thru first half of my lid. Goldmine e/s on outer half of my lid. Carbon e/s blended into outer v and up thru the crease. Nylon e/s as my highlight. Blacktrack fluidline as my eyeliner. Technokohl liner in graphblack on the waterline and on my lower lashline smudged out.

Lips: Revlon matte in nude attitude (i love this lipstick... i wear it everyday :)!)
